Getting acquainted with musical genres

Learning about music genres can turn out to be quite difficult owing to the vast range of genres existing at present. Musical diversity is attributed to different cultures as music takes identity from specific cultures they originate from. Variations in originating culture culminate to what we now identify as pop music that is also called mainstream music.
